Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By engaging Houghton Web Design for any services, you agree to these terms. A formal project agreement will be provided before work commences, outlining scope, timeline, cost and payment terms specific to your project.
2. Services
Houghton Web Design provides web design, development, AI integration and automation services as agreed in your project brief. Any changes to agreed scope may affect the timeline and cost.
3. Payment
Specific payment terms are outlined in your individual project agreement. Typically, a deposit is required before work begins with the remainder due upon completion or at agreed milestones.
4. Intellectual property
Upon receipt of final payment, all design and code assets created for your project are transferred to you. We retain the right to display the project in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Liability
Houghton Web Design is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your website or any third-party services integrated into it. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
